For the second straight year, the Mount Vernon Nazarene College sports website has been selected as one of the top sites in the third annual NAIA-SIDA website contest. After being selected as the top site in the 1998 contest, MVNC's site finished second out of 49 entrants in this year's contest.
MVNC's website has been designed and maintained by Dave Parsons, the school's sports information director. The website consists of schedules, results, history, pictures, and more for each of the Cougars' eight sports.
"It is a great honor to have our site honored by my peers," said Parsons referring to the fact the judging is done by NAIA sports information directors. "We have worked hard to make our site one that keeps the public informed about MVNC sports."
MVNC will receive a certificate from the NAIA national office for its second-place finish. Below is a list of the top ten websites in this year's contest:
