The Mount Vernon Nazarene College baseball team heads the list of ten teams that will begin play at the 1998 National Christian College Athletic Association national tournament in Mishawaka, Indiana, on May 13.
The Cougars (35-10) are the top seed in this year's event, and MVNC will be looking for its fourth straight NCCAA national title and fifth overall. The team has won three consecutive titles from 1995-97 with their other title coming in 1989.
The Cougars will begin play in the double elimination tournament at 12:00 p.m. CST against the winner of the game between Mid America Bible (OK) College and Indiana Wesleyan University. The tournament runs from Wednesday, May 13, through Saturday, May 16.
