In the championship game, she scored a season-high 26 points and added 11 rebounds in a 74-58 victory over top-seeded Roberts Wesleyan (NY) College. She was 9-of-14 from the field and 8-for-8 from the charity stripe, while dishing out a career-high five assists in the game.

For the week, Seiter made 17-of-22 shots from the field (77 percent) and 10-of-11 free throw attempts (91 percent). She also moved into second place on the Lady Cougars' career points list (1,198) and career rebounds list (693).

MVNC (18-16) will now travel to Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, to take part in the 1998 NCCAA National Tournament. The sixth-seeded Lady Cougars will face Trinity Christian (IL) College, the third seed, on Thursday, March 12, at 6:00 p.m. in the first round of the eight-team tournament.
