MVNU Women's Fastpitch Softball Team
Honored by NFCA

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (10-11-2011) - The 2011
Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's
fastpitch softball team has been recognized
by the National Fastpitch Coaches
Association as one of the top NAIA softball
teams in the classroom during the 2010-2011
school year as the Lady Cougars ranked No.
17 with a 3.343 team grade point average. In
addition, 12 players were named NFCA
All-America Scholar-Athletes after posting a
3.50 or higher GPA during the school year.
