November 2
written by Dave Parsons, Sports Information Director
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (10-29-2010) - The Mount
Vernon Nazarene University women's
volleyball team will sponsor Care Net Night
in conjunction with the Lady Cougars'
American Mideast Conference match against
Malone University on Tuesday, November 2, at
7 p.m.

Care Net is a pregnancy center that
offers hope to women facing unplanned
pregnancies by providing practical help and
emotional support. Free pregnancy tests,
ultrasounds, abortion information, parenting
classes, and material assistance are just
some of the many services offered that
empower women to choose life. The ultimate
aim of Care Net is to share the love and
truth of Jesus Christ in both word and deed.
"Care Net is a great organization that I
believe whole-heartedly in,” said MVNU coach
Paul Swanson. "It makes perfect sense for
our team to support a local organization
like this that can provide so much help and
support for women in Knox County.”

Admission to the Lady Cougars' match
versus Malone will be $2 for adults and $1
for students with additional donations
accepted as every dollar will go directly to
Care Net. MVNU is currently 37-2 overall and
8-0 in the AMC, while Malone is 27-5 overall
and 6-1 in conference play.
