Snouffer and Allen Selected as NCCAA

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (12-13-2010) - Cody
Snouffer and Chris Allen, two members of the
Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's
soccer team, were honored recently when the
National Christian College Athletic
Association All-American Teams were
announced.

Cody Snouffer, a senior forward from
Delaware, Ohio, was named to the NCCAA
All-American Second Team for the second
straight year. The former Delaware Christian
School star registered eight goals and eight
assists this season for the Cougars. He
finishes his career having played in all 93
of the team's matches over the past four
years. He ranks sixth in school history with
28 assists and tenth with 82 points, and he
also scored 27 career goals.
Chris Allen, a junior forward from St.
Catherine, Jamaica, was selected as an NCCAA
Honorable Mention All-American. The former
Kingston College standout led MVNU with nine
assists this year and found the back of the
net eight times. After three seasons, he has
compiled 23 career goals and 21 career
assists.
MVNU finished the 2010 season with a 12-7-2
overall record and a 5-2-1 American Mideast
Conference mark. The Cougars advanced to the
championship match of the NCCAA East Region
Tournament before falling to Roberts
Wesleyan (N.Y.) College in a shootout.
