MVNU was second among American Mideast
Conference member schools with its total of
14 honorees trailing just Houghton (N.Y.)
College, which had 19 student-athletes
recognized. Student-athletes must be a
junior or a senior with a 3.50 or higher
grade point average to be recognized. MVNU
set a school record with 19 honorees for the
entire 2008-2009 school year and appear well
on the way to breaking that record this
year.
