MVNU Men's Soccer Team to Play at Ohio
State to Open Season

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (4-23-2010) - The Mount
Vernon Nazarene University men’s soccer team
will open their 2010 season with an
exhibition match at The Ohio State
University on August 21 at 2:00 p.m. at
Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the OSU
campus.
The Cougars, who will become the first
MVNU team in any sport to play the Buckeyes,
have posted a 35-11-4 record over the past
two years that includes advancing to the
NAIA National Championship semifinals in
2008.
