on Friday and Saturday with two matches
being played each day.The host Cougars

each match for MVNU, and sophomore forward
Rockey Cane also scored once.

Nyack (N.Y.) College taking on Asbury (Ky.)
College at 2:00 p.m. The Warriors of Nyack
are currently 1-0-1 after a 1-1 double

"We are looking forward to another great
weekend of soccer,” said MVNU head coach
Paul Furey. "There should be two competitive
matches on Friday followed by the four teams
eating together and fellowshipping on Friday
evening. That has been one of the nice
features of this tournament.”
"First-Knox National Bank has been a
great partner with our men’s soccer program
over the years,” Furey continued. "Barb
Barry and the marketing people at First-Knox
do so many things for our community. We are
glad they have teamed up with us for so many
years and have helped us sponsor a
first-rate soccer tournament.”
On Saturday, the consolation match of the
tournament will take place at 1:00 p.m. as
the losers from each of Friday’s matches
will square off followed by the championship
match at 3:00 p.m. An all-tournament team
will also be announced following the
championship match.
