Highlighting the list for the Cougars is
Adam Worrall, who was selected as the NCCAA
East Region Player of the Year. Worrall, a
senior forward from Blacklick, Ohio, led
MVNU with 23 goals and 10 assists in 24
matches with 10 game-winning goals. The
former Gahanna Lincoln High School star
finishes his career tied for third place in
school history in goals (45), fourth in
points (109), and 14th in assists (19).
Zach Patterson, a senior defender from
Dayton, Ohio, was also named to the NCCAA
East Region Team for the second straight
year. The former Dayton Christian High
School standout anchored the Cougars’
defense that posted a school-record 14
shutouts and allowed just 16 goals in 24
matches - the fewest in school history.
Patterson also recorded two assists on the
season as he was the only player on the team
to play all 2,218 minutes.
Alex Stout, a junior goalkeeper from
Pataskala, Ohio, joined Worrall and
Patterson on the NCCAA East Region Team. The

as he broke his own school records for
lowest goals against average (0.62) and
shutouts (14). He also increased his
school-record career shutout total to 26
with one more season to add to that record.
