Kristy Brandolini, Jessica Estep, Angie
Misamore, Page Miller, and Stacy Robey were
each named to the NCCAA East Region Team,
while Kelly Sgambellone was an NCCAA East
Region Honorable Mention selection.
Brandolini, a senior forward from
Twinsburg, Ohio, has started in all 20
matches. The former Twinsburg High School
star, who was also chosen as the NCCAA East
Region Player of the Year, has scored 14
goals and registered a team-high 15 assists
for 43 points. For her career, she ranks
first in school history in goals (70), first
in points (188), and second in assists (48).
Estep, a freshman forward from Mansfield,
Ohio, has started in 19 matches. The former
Madison High School standout, who was second
in the voting behind Brandolini, leads the
Lady Cougars with 21 goals to go with three
assists for 45 points. In just one season,
she ranks fifth in school history in career
goals and eighth in career points.
Misamore, a sophomore defender from
Findlay, Ohio, has started in all 20
matches. The former Findlay High School
product has registered one goal and two
assists and helped anchor the back line that
has registered seven shutouts.
Miller, a junior midfielder from Bethel,
Ohio, has started all 20 matches. The former
Bethel-Tate High School product has scored
eight goals and tallied seven assists for 23
points. She now ranks sixth in school
history in career goals (19), tied for sixth
in career assists (16), and sixth in career
points (54).
Robey, a senior defender from New
Carlisle, Ohio, has also started all 20
matches. The former Northwestern High School
graduate has registered two assists and been
another anchor on the team’s back line. She
has also taken the majority of MVNU’s corner
kicks this season.
Sgambellone, a junior defender from
Hilliard, Ohio, has also started in all 20
matches. The former Hilliard Darby High
School standout, who played as a forward and
midfielder her first two years, has scored
one goal and added three assists while being
a key component of the back line. She is
tied for tenth place in school history with
15 career goals.

was also selected as the NCCAA East Region
Coach of the Year after guiding the Lady
Cougars to a 14-5-1 record so far and both
the American Mideast Conference South
Division and NCCAA East Region titles. MVNU,
which is ranked 25th in the final NAIA poll,
will take part in the eight-team NCCAA
National Tournament in Kissimmee, Florida.
The second-seeded Lady Cougars will face
seventh-seeded Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.)
University at noon on Friday in the first
round.
