Brandolini, a junior forward from Twinsburg, Ohio, was selected as the National Christian College Athletic Association Player of the Week as she recorded three goals and three assists during the Lady Cougars’ 2-0-0 week. The former Twinsburg High School star tallied two goals and two assists in a 5-1 victory at Malone College and then added one goal and one assist in a 6-2 win over Geneva (Pa.) College.

On the season, Brandolini leads MVNU with seven goals and 10 assists. She ranks third in school history in career goals (47), second in career assists (31), and third in career points (125).

Tomlinson, a junior defender from Tipp City, Ohio, was named the American Mideast Conference Defensive Player of the Week. The former Tippecanoe High School standout helped the MVNU defense limit the opposition to just six total shots in two matches during the week and only three shots on goal. In the victory over Geneva, she tied the school single-match record by registering three assists.

On the season, Tomlinson is tied for second on the team with four assists. She has also helped the defense post two shutouts. For her career, she ranks tenth with nine career assists.

The Lady Cougars are currently 6-4-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the AMC South Division. MVNU currently has a six-match unbeaten streak after starting the year 1-4-0. The team will return to action on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. when they will host the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) in a non-conference match at Worthington Christian High School.
