MVNU's Milburn Named Libero of the Week Again

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - Tiffany Milburn, a member of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team, was recently selected as the American Mideast Conference and NAIA Region IX Libero of the Week for the second time this season as she was honored for her performance in matches played September 25-October 1.

Milburn, a junior defensive specialist from Centerburg, Ohio, helped the Lady Cougars to a 2-0 record for the week. The former standout at Centerburg High School averaged 6.17 digs per game while handling 37 serve reception attempts during the week with no errors. She also posted two aces as MVNU registered road wins at Malone College and at Geneva (Pa.) College.

On the season, Milburn leads the Lady Cougars with 481 digs and 748 serve reception attempts. She has also served up 32 aces and posted a .947 serving percentage.

MVNU will return to action on Saturday when the Lady Cougars will host Urbana University and Walsh University in an AMC South Division tri-match at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. respectively. MVNU is currently 19-9 overall and 4-2 in the AMC South Division.
