Beheler, a sophomore middle hitter from Butler, Ohio, became only the seventh player in the program’s successful history to earn an NAIA All-American accolade. The former star at Fredericktown High School led the Lady Cougars with 711 kills and 266 blocks during the 2005 season - the third and second highest single-season totals respectively in school history. Beheler also posted 37 assists, 46 aces, 435 digs, and a team-best .329 attack percentage.

After just two seasons, Beheler already ranks tenth in school history with 1,292 career kills and ninth with 495 career blocks. She has also served up 109 career aces to go with 638 career digs.

MVNU finished the year with a 42-12 overall record as the Lady Cougars finished as the NAIA Region IX Tournament runner-up for the fifth time in the past seven years. The team also finished second in the American Mideast Conference South Division with an 11-5 conference mark.
