Youel, a 5-foot-5 guard from Byesville, Ohio, averaged 15.7 points, 5.8 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game as a senior at Meadowbrook High School. She was named to the East Central Ohio League First Team, the District 12 First Team, the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference First Team, and the Eastern District First Team as both a sophomore and a senior as well as being a two-time All-Ohio Honorable Mention pick. During her senior year, Youel set new single-game school records for three-pointers made (8), assists (15), and points (36). She also finished fourth on the school’s career scoring list with 965 points.

"Tiffany is truly an exciting player to watch and brings a lot to the table,” said MVNU head coach Steve Gregory. "She is a very versatile guard. She can shoot the ball from deep outside the three-point line. She can slash to the basket. She has great ball-handling skills, and she is one of the best passing guards I have ever seen. Her court vision is phenomenal. I am excited about the options that we will have at the guard positions next year. Tiffany is an exceptional talent who chose to come to MVNU despite having many other options. I think she made a great choice and fits in very well with our style of play. She provides immediate help where we felt we needed it most - at the point guard position.”

"Tiffany really had an outstanding senior season after missing most of her junior year with a torn ACL,” Gregory added. "I expect her to continue to progress and get better as she gets stronger and continues to recover from her injury. I am also very pleased with Tiffany as a person. While she is very talented on the court, she is very humble off of it. She has had a great career and we are looking forward to the same great things here over the next four years.”

In addition to playing basketball, Youel is a member of the softball team at Meadowbrook. She has also been active in student council, prom committee, and art club.

"When looking for the right place to spend my next four years, MVNU has always been at the top of the list,” said Youel. "After visiting, I knew this was the right place for me. MVNU has a very good education program. I really enjoyed the Christian atmosphere, and the people are great. I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to play the next four years under Coach Gregory. The team has been extremely nice and made me feel very welcomed. I’m very excited to have such an opportunity - to become their teammate and build everlasting friendships with each of them. This group of people helped make my decision a lot easier. It’s a blessing to be a Cougar!”
