Votapek, a sophomore forward from Amelia, Ohio, earned the conference offensive honor for the fourth time this season and was also named the NAIA Region IX Player of the Week for the fourth time this year. The former Amelia High School star scored two goals in a 3-0 win at Ohio Dominican University and added another goal in a 2-1 victory over Tiffin University.

On the season, Votapek leads the Lady Cougars with 26 goals as she has tied her own school record that she set last year as a freshman. She has also tallied four assists and compiled a team-best 56 total points.

Wilson, a freshman goalkeeper from Sunbury, Ohio, earned the conference defensive honor for the third time this year. The former Big Walnut High School standout stopped eight shots in posting her school-record twelfth shutout in the 3-0 win at Ohio Dominican. Then, she registered four saves to preserve the 2-1 victory against Tiffin.

On the season, Wilson ranks second in the AMC with a 0.38 goals against average. She has allowed just seven goals in 18 matches and has totaled a school-record 95 saves to go with her record 12 shutouts.

MVNU, which has set a new school record for wins with its 15-2-1 overall mark, will close out the regular season with an AMC South Division match at home against Urbana University on Friday at 3:30 p.m. With a win, the Lady Cougars would claim their first division title in only their fourth season as a varsity program.
