Ricky Warren, a senior defender from Kingston, Jamaica, was named to the NCCAA East Region Team as he finished third in the balloting. The former standout at Meadowbrook High School helped anchor the MVNU defense that limited their opponents to a school-record-tying 22 goals in 18 matches. Warren also registered three assists.

Jeremy Hilen, a senior defender from West Chester, Ohio, joined Warren on the NCCAA East Region Team. The former Lakota East High School product was another key member of the back line, but he also contributed heavily to the attack as he led the team with six assists.

Nate Sommers, a junior forward from Mount Gilead, Ohio, was also named to the NCCAA East Region Team. The former All-Ohioan at Mansfield Christian High School led the Cougars with 12 goals to go with four assists this season.

Jeffery Hinds, a sophomore midfielder from Kingston, Jamaica, rounded out the MVNU players on the NCCAA East Region Team. The former Kingston College High School star scored five goals with three assists this year.

Josh Van Pelt, a freshman midfielder from Marysville, Tennessee, was an NCCAA East Region Honorable Mention pick. The former William Blount High School star recorded four goals and two assists in his first collegiate season.

MVNU finished the year with a 13-5-1 overall record. The Cougars advanced to the semifinals of the NCCAA East Region Tournament before having their season come to an end.
