Two Lady Cougars Honored by AMC South Division Coacheswritten by Dave Parsons, Sports Information Director
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - Two members of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's basketball team were honored when the American Mideast Conference South Division honors were announced on Friday afternoon.

Susan Adams, a junior guard/forward from Cardington, Ohio, was named to the AMC South Division Second Team after leading the Lady Cougars in scoring (16.5 points per game) and rebounding (8.3 rebounds per game) this season. The former Cardington-Lincoln High School star also compiled 79 assists, 14 blocked shots, and a team-high 51 steals.
Jenni Davis, a senior guard from Cardington, Ohio, was an AMC South Division Honorable Mention pick after averaging 11.4 points per game and dishing out a team-high 104 assists. The former Cardington-Lincoln High School standout also led MVNU with 52 three-pointers made while recording 95 rebounds and 34 steals.
The Lady Cougars finished the 2002-2003 campaign with a 10-19 overall record.
