Kendra
Lambert was a four-year member of the women’s fastpitch softball
team during her years at MVNU from 1989-1992.
During Lambert’s career, the Lady Cougars posted a 119-40 overall record. The team also won a share of the Mid-Ohio Conference title in 1989 and finished as the National Christian College Athletic Association national invitational runner-up in 1992. She was also a part of two NAIA District 22 runner-up finishes in 1989 and 1992. Lambert was selected to the MOC First Team all four years of her career in addition to being named to the NAIA District 22 First Team twice in 1990 and 1991. She was also named the MOC Co-Player of the Year in 1990 as a sophomore. Lambert still ranks among the top five in several offensive career categories in the school’s softball record books. She is third in singles (139), third in runs batted in (125), third in assists (310), fourth in at bats (492), fourth in hits (182), fourth in home runs (6), and fifth in walks (70). She batted .370 for her career.
