
Kendra
Lambert is the Assistant to the Chaplain for Small Group Ministries at Mount Vernon Nazarene
University. Kendra began working at MVNU in the summer of 1996.
Before coming to Mount Vernon, Kendra served as a lay pastor for the college & career group at First Church of the Nazarene in Columbus, Ohio. In 1996, she accepted a position as a Resident Director at MVNU in the Maplewood/Elmwood Apartments. In the spring of 1999, the Associate Dean of Student Development and Kendra put together a proposal to create the position of Director of Residence Life. Within this position, Kendra supervised the Resident Directors, Resident Assistants, and handled on and off campus issues. In August of 2002, Dr. E. LeBron Fairbanks appointed Kendra to
oversee the Student Leadership Conference, provide resources for student leaders, and organizes small group ministries.
In September of 2004, Kendra will continue training student
leaders in small group ministries and do more one-on-one
mentoring with students.
She is a 1993 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene College where she
earned a BA in Sports Medicine & Sports Management. In 2001
she earned her M.Ed in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific
University in Azusa, California. The faculty and students voted
her as Outstanding College Student Affairs Student in the CSA
program. Kendra is single and resides in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
