Dr. Geri Rosser coordinates student worship teams and worship bands for on-campus services as a part of the Chaplain's Division. With the assistance of her student worship team leaders, she plans the services each week. She also works as adjunct faculty for the music department, teaching private composition and piano improvisation lessons.
Her skills as a worship planner and leader
come largely from experience. She works with her husband on staff
at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Gahanna, Ohio with the
music ministry. Geri and her husband have been involved in local
ministry for over 20 years, after meeting in a denominationally-sponsored
singing group.
Geri graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a B.S. in Music Education,
then received her Master's Degree from The Ohio State University in 1994. She
has completed a Ph.D. in Music Theory at Ohio State in 2003.
