Presidential Academic Scholarship

The Presidential Academic Scholarship is awarded as the highest recognition given for academic, extracurricular, and church/community involvement, and for commitment to the vision of Christian higher education expressed through a written essay. This scholarship is worth up to an additional $3,000 award beyond other MVNU merit scholarships for which you quality, and is renewable for up to five years based on the same maintenance criteria established for your other merit scholarships.

Eligibility to apply for this scholarship is based on your academic achievement and on your plans to enroll at MVNU as a freshman in the fall of 2012. You must have a composite ACT score of 27 or greater and a GPA of 3.50 or greater.

To be considered for selection, you must submit the Scholarship Application along with two short essays covering the themes outlined in the on the Application. The form and essay must be submitted in paper or electronic format by February 17, 2012. The scholarship committee will meet to review the applications and determine this year's recipients before March 10, 2012. You will be notified of this decision by that time by e-mail.
