MVNU to Host Trio Villanella in Concert

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - Mount Vernon Nazarene University will present Trio Villanella in concert on Monday, April 14, at 7 p.m. The concert will take place in Thorne Performance Hall in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Fine Arts Building, and the community is invited to attend this free event.

The concert will offer a variety of music from Baroque to contemporary. It will feature selections from the Trio's upcoming China tour including music by composers from Russia, Germany, France, Poland, Argentina, and England.

Trio Villanella was formed in 2013 by three Denison University music instructors. The group includes MVNU's adjunct clarinet/saxophone instructor, Jackie Bretz Eichorn, along with flutist Leslie Maaser and harpist Yan Ni.
