Rococoa Wind Quintet to Perform at MVNU

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - The Mount Vernon Nazarene University Music Department is pleased to present the Rococoa Wind Quintet in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the R.R. Hodges Chapel Auditorium.
The Rococoa Wind Quintet will appear with guest pianist Nelson Harper and will perform works by Theodor Blumer and Francis Poulenc. Also on the program is Vaclav Nelhybel's Woodwind Quintet No. 2, exemplifying the composer's clever writing style and the wind instrumentalists' exquisite technique.
Rococoa Wind Quintet was founded in 2012 by a consortium of music faculty from Ohio Wesleyan University, Kenyon College, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and Denison University. Guest Nelson Harper is on the music faculty at Denison University.
