MVNU names Jim Parks Director of GPS Admissions

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - Mount Vernon Nazarene University has named Jim Parks as Director of Graduate and Professional Studies Admissions. Prior to this appointment, Parks served as the assistant Professor of Management since 2006.
Parks graduated from MVNU in 1982 with a B.A. in Secondary Education. He completed his M.B.A. with a concentration in Executive Management from Ashland University in 1995.
Since joining MVNU in 1995, Parks has served the University in a variety of roles related to the Graduate and Professional Studies programs. Parks has served as Education Specialist, Site Coordinator, Director of Student Services, Director of Recruitment/Marketing, and Director of Articulation Relationships and Partnerships. Parks has been a member of the MVNU faculty since 2006, serving as Assistant Professor of Management in the Business Administration department.
Parks will begin transitioning into his new assignment on August 5, 2013. He will have an office at the MVNU Newark site as well as on the main campus in Mount Vernon.
