MVNU's senior art majors have been working non-stop over the past two semesters to present their finest works to the public before they graduate. Since their freshman year, these students have been cultivating their artistic talents and broadening their creative minds through an extensive scope of classes. Over the past year, they have put in hundreds of hours to create their final projects.

This event is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be open from April 29 to May 10, and the artist reception will take place on May 3, during downtown Mount Vernon's First Friday activities. The artists will be presenting works in a variety of mediums - from painting and drawing to contemporary collage and video. These developing artists hope to capture the minds and hearts of their viewers through these many mediums and draw them into the world of art. The theme of this year's show is "Remnants."

Please join us as we celebrate the talent and hard work of the senior art majors. For more information, call (740)-397-9000, ext. 3040, or visit
