Music Department concert a highlight of MVNU Homecoming Weekend

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- The Music Department at Mount Vernon Nazarene University will present the instrumental and choral ensembles in concert on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 4:30 p.m. in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium. This event is a part of the annual Homecoming Weekend at MVNU, and is free and open to the public.

The concert will include performances by the Flute Choir, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Collegians Chorale, Goliards Chamber Choir, and Treble Singers Women's Choir.

The featured alumnae this year is Rachel Helton Ozee (1998) who will be soloing with Collegians Chorale on "He'll Be There," a piece she recorded with Collegians as a student. Rachel currently resides in Bourbonnais, Illinois, with her husband Chad, daughter Caitlyn, and son Caleb.

In addition, alumni of all ensembles will be invited to the stage to lead the audience in the MVNU Alma Mater to conclude the concert.
