The Date Night Challenge is provided by Focus on the Family and is a fun night of music, laughter and tips to strengthen marriage. The video presentation features music from 14-time Dove Award nominee Mark Schultz, comedy by Michael Jr., plus messages from Dr. Greg and Erin Smalley and Pastor Ted Cunningham.

The date night will finish with a chocolate lover's dessert buffet reception in the Chapel foyer and adjoining rooms.

WNZR also plans to give away over $1,000 worth of prizes throughout the evening, courtesy of local businesses. Prizes include a gift certificate to attend "Couple Talk" with TouchPointe Marriage & Family Resources, a dozen roses, three 30-minute massages, tickets to the MVNU Women's Auxiliary Spring Retreat, dinner certificates, hair care products and certificates, flowers, and the latest CD from Mark Schultz and DVD from Michael Jr.

The entertainment for this presentation is outstanding! Mark Schultz, a 14-time Dove Award nominee and platinum-selling artist who touches hearts whether he sings about parents praying for a sick child ("He's My Son"), or writes in honor of his great-grandmother's sons who fought in World War II ("Letters From War"). Michael Jr. will provide the comedy relief for the evening. Watch him onstage and you'll see a man at ease - with himself, his audience, and his message. Listen to his voice and you'll detect a comfortable, conversational style that hides a sly sense of mischief. Hear his words and you'll laugh at the universal themes that connect us all.

A message will be delivered by Ted Cunningham. Ted is the founding pastor of Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson, Missouri. He is the author of Young and In Love: Challenging the Unnecessary Delay of Marriage and coauthor of four other books on relationships.

Dr. Greg & Erin Smalley will round out the evening. They recently celebrated 20 years of marriage! They are the proud parents of four children. Together, they make their home in Colorado as Greg is the Executive Director of Marriage at Focus on the Family. In this role, Greg helps prepare individuals for marriage, strengthen and nurture existing marriages and provides support for couples in crisis. Greg is the author of twelve books including The DNA of Relationships, The Wholehearted Marriage and Fight Your Way to a Better Marriage.
