Schnormeier Gallery Features MVNU Art and Design Faculty Exhibition

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene University's Schnormeier Gallery will exhibit work by MVNU art and design faculty from August 24 through September 22, 2012. A reception, held on Friday, September 7, from 6-9 p.m., will be free and open to the public.
Andrew Hendrixson, an artist from Cincinnati who teaches painting, sculpting, and drawing at MVNU, will be displaying some paintings and a small installation piece featuring hand sewn fabric, yarn, and various reclaimed objects. Margaret Alloytey-Pappoe, a grapic design professor, will be show a variety of her work. Brian Baby, a black and white photography educator, will be displaying his sculptures, photography, and a pen and ink drawing. Paul Linhares, who teaches ceramics, will be displaying several of his pieces. Jamie Henry, an illustration educator, will be displaying print graphics and photographs printed on metal. John Donnelly, MVNU's art department chair, will be displaying paintings and prints.
