WNZR DJ Bowl to be part of Gospel Day at the Dan Emmett Music and Arts Festival

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio --WNZR 90.9 FM and Friendly's Restaurant are hosting a special event for Gospel Day during the Dan Emmett Music and Arts Festival. Kids of all ages are invited to attend the WNZR DJ Bowl on Sunday, August 14. The Place @ The Woodward at 111 S. Main Street in downtown Mount Vernon will be transformed into a kid-friendly bowling alley, with one area for pre-schoolers and an area for kids 6 and above.

Players can bowl between noon and 4 p.m. with a chance to win prizes. Pre-schoolers will use a traditional kiddie-bowl setup while those 6 and over will bowl using a Wii Sports System provided by Family Video of Mount Vernon. Visitors and bowlers will also have the chance to be a guest DJ on site, playing music for those in attendance. Admission is free, but bowling will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of four. Friendly's Restaurant will hand out free ice cream cone certificates to the first 50 bowlers.
