Music Department concert a highlight of MVNU Homecoming Weekend

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- The Music Department at Mount Vernon Nazarene University will present the choral and instrumental ensembles in concert on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 4:30 p.m. in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium. This event, part of the annual Homecoming Weekend at MVNU, is free and open to the public.
The concert will showcase the Symphonic Wind Ensemble directed by Dr. John Packard. The current players and Wind Ensemble alumni will present Alfred Reed's Russian Christmas Music.
Collegians Chorale, Treble Singers Women's Choir, Goliards Chamber Choir, Jazz Band, and Flute Choir will also perform. In addition, alumni of all choral ensembles are invited to perform in a sing-along of the University Hymn "Be Thou My Vision" as well as the MVNU Alma Mater to conclude the concert.
