Community invited to MVNU for Goliards Chamber Choir Concert

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene University's Goliards Chamber Choir will present "Sing, Sing a Song for Me!" on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 8:00 p.m. in Thorne Performance Hall inside the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Fine Arts Center. The concert is free and the community is invited to attend this event.
Goliards, MVNU's a capella chamber choir, under the direction of Virginia Cameron, will present an evening of varied music. There will be songs of the Renaissance including "Sing, Sing a Song for Me!" and songs of Orlando di Lasso including "I Know a Young Maiden" and "Echo Song." Then songs of faith such as "My Jesus I Love Thee" and "Dry Bones" will be presented. The concert will conclude with songs of the season including "O Magnum Mysterium" and "Good Christians, Now Rejoice."
