Homecoming Court selected for 2009

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Homecoming Court has been selected for 2009. Homecoming activities begin on Thursday, Nov. 12, with the Homecoming pageant and queen’s reception at 7 p.m, and will continue through Saturday, Nov. 14.

Senior queen candidates (front row) include: Sarah Woodring, a music and worship major and daughter of Del and Laura Woodring of Burbank, Ohio; Abigail Kraly, an integrated math education major and daughter of Daniel and Jeanie Kraly of Antwerp, Ohio; and Desiree Aspiras, A middle childhood education major and daughter of Ricardo and Holly Aspiras of Orrville, Ohio.
Junior Homecoming Court members are(middle): Katelyn Becker, a management and marketing major and daughter of Greg and Debbie Becker of Dalton, Ohio; and Lauren Clark, an intervention specialist and early childhood education major and daughter of Kenneth and Susan Clark of Fairfield, Ohio. Sophomore candidates include: Olivia Boyd, an intercultural studies major and daughter of Randall and Amy Boyd of Ashland, Ohio; and Kayla Yoshino, a graphic design major and daughter of Richard and Lisa Yoshino of Toledo, Ohio.
This year’s MVNU Homecoming Court freshmen are (back row): Morgan Coburn, an intervention specialist and early childhood education major and daughter of Mark and Marilyn Coburn of Hamilton, Ohio; and Olivia Spoon, a communication studies and business administration major and daughter of Steve and Sonja Spoon of Troy, Ohio.
