Although our admissions process is relatively straightforward, our knowledgeable staff is available to help you at all times. Once you have completed and submitted your application materials, the Graduate Business Admissions Committee will determine your acceptance status. Admissions requirements include:
- A completed graduate business admissions application
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally-accredited institution with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.80 (on a 4.00 scale)
- Submission of official transcripts of all previous college or university undergraduate and graduate coursework completed to date
- A completed Registration Agreement Form
Applicants from countries and U.S. territories in which English is not the primary language must also provide recent evidence of proficiency in English by scoring 80 or above on the Internet-based TOEFL with subscores in writing, reading, speaking, and listening of at least 20; or scoring 550 or above on the written TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with subscores in both writing and reading of at least 50. All tests of English proficiency must have been taken in the last 2 years to be considered for acceptance.
Students may transfer up to 6 semester hours of graduate business course work, provided that the courses were earned from a regionally accredited institution, a grade of B or higher was earned, and they are applicable to MVNU's program. Credits are evaluated and approved by the Graduate Business Chairs.

Peregrine Academic Leveling CoursesApplicants who do not have an undergraduate business degree must demonstrate proficiency in the common professional components found in a bachelor's degree in business, including marketing, business finance, accounting, management, legal environment of business, economics, business ethics, global dimensions of business, information systems, quantitative techniques/statistics, and business policies.
Proficiency is determined by successfully completing the Peregrine Leveling course(s). Click here for details.
MBA - Complete the 36 credit hours with at least a 3.0 grade point average.
MSM - Complete the 30 credit hours with at least a 3.0 grade point average.
