Awards and Recognition:
Minority Faculty Fellow, Indiana University, School of Education, Bloomington, IN, May-June 1999. My Fellow position was the result of a competitive selection process for recent minority Ph.D. recipients who met the IU standards of excellence and who were capable of bringing a minority presence to the campus. The appointment provided 50% research time and 50% academic appointment teaching one course in my field of expertise.
