The Church Relations office is staffed by Mike Williams, Director, Trinia Huddleston, Church Relations Coordinator and Diana Tocheff, Church Relations and Summer Conferences Coordinator.

Dr. Mike Williams, Director of Church Relations, ext. 4111 mwillia6@mvnu.edu 

Mike is a 1977 graduate of MVNU and an elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He has served as a pastor of urban and rural congregations in Florida, Ohio, and Illinois.  His pastoral experience includes being a church planter and as lead pastor in multiple staff settings. He has a range of experience at the district leadership level and in various civic organizations of the communities he served as pastor.

His primary responsibility is to oversee the Church Leadership Network which works with local church pastors and lay leaders on the MVNU region to help them be more intentional in fulfilling their mission. 

Williams and his wife, Kenna, reside in Mount Vernon, Ohio. They have two children: Ben, a 2001 alumnus of MVNU who lives in North Carolina with his wife Elliot, and Angela, a grade school teacher in South Korea.

Trinia Huddleston, Church Relations Coordinator, ext. 4110 thuddles@mvnu.edu 

Trinia is a 1998 graduate of MVNU. She has served MVNU in the Special Events, Communications, Alumni Relations departments and Marketing departments.

Some of Trinia's roles in Church Relations include: organizing and facilitating all Church Leadership events and many Church Relations events, and providing support for the Director of Church Relations.

Trinia and her husband, Joe, reside in Mount Vernon with their son Carter.


Diana Tocheff, Church Relations/Summer Conference Coordinator, ext. 4112 Diana.Tocheff@mvnu.edu 

Diana is a 1975 graduate of MVHS. She has served at MVNU since 1999 as Office Manager in the Office of Academic Support and Retention for 2 years, Administrative Assistant to the Chaplain for 10 1/2 years and in Church Relations since October 2012.

Some of Diana's roles in Church Relations include: assisting with Church Leadership and Church Relations events; and providing support for the Director of Church Relations. Diana also serves as the MVNU Music Department Ensemble Tour Coordinator and MVNU Student Life Photographer

Diana and her husband, Dr. Bob Tocheff, reside in Mount Vernon and have 4 grown children: Michael McNeil (MVNU alumnus), married to Anji Villa; Kyle and Becky Tocheff (MVNU alumni) and their children, Madelyn and Mason; Kim (Olivet alumnae) and Adam Dillon and son, Johan, and Clay and Katie Tocheff (MVNU alumni).
