Calvin Miller - March 29, 2012
Theme:
Preaching: The Art of Narrative
Exposition
Time: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (Registration 9 a.m.)
Location: To be determined based
on attendance
About the
Seminar:
Pastors want to connect to an
unchurched and younger society
more attuned to lively dialogue
and visual images.
Yet at the same time they
want to offer expositional
preaching that helps those
listening understand the deeper
truths of the Bible. The
challenge of contemporary
preaching is packaging a message
that holds the attention and
touches the hearts of those who
listen - while offering biblical
substance in the process.
Calvin
Miller, who has preached and
equipped preachers for decades,
will offer helpful insights for
pastors to deliver the heart of
the gospel via the
Jesus-endorsed vessel of
compelling storytelling- this
is known as the art of narrative
expositional preaching.
