What They're Saying...

Fritz Below - North Ridgeville, OH

Fritz BelowThe most meaningful insight that I've gained from i21 has to do with life balance - being able to keep all aspects of who I am in check and not letting one get so out of whack that it really begins to effect and neglect the other areas of my life, really being able to take control - take control of my time, take control of my resources, move forward rather than being tossed about by the wind.

It really helps you to think forward into the future; (i21) gives you tools to use that are really beyond even your own personal self, even beyond your ministry context. The relationships I've built with the other guys in the cohort have been an invaluable tool for me.

Eric Folk - Fremont, OH

Eric Folki21 has helped me to focus on what really matters. The personalized approach is, I think, more effective for long-term ministry success than "one-size-fits-all". Beginning with our individual strengths, acknowledging how God has uniquely created each of us, we are better equipped to be the servant leaders we were always meant to be.

Randy Ledsome - Charleston, WV

Randy LedsomeI'm glad I made the decision to attend! The i21 session one was very timely for me in my life. It brought me to a better understanding of who I am and how God has "hard-wired" me with specific strengths and abilities to fulfill His call on my life.

I realized that I must allow time for me to grow and enjoy life before I can properly disciple my congregation. i21 is not another church growth seminar. (i21 helps you) identify the uniqueness of yourself and your church to fulfill our mission to "Go Make Disciples".

Merrill Williams - East Liverpool, OH

Merrill Williamsi21 is just what I was looking for - a way to improve myself and my ministry at this stage in my life. I really appreciate how the first (session of the) cohort is designed to help me as a person before moving on to mission and strategy planning. I'm also enjoying the fellowship and accountability with my cohort-mates.

Brian Westover - Middlefield, OH

Brian WestoverA lot of times when you're a pastor, you get caught up in the whole idea of running the church and you forget about yourself for your own spiritual things. I think that's key and that's important if we're going to lead the church; so that really hit me hard and helped me to focus more on who I need to be in Christ.

Pete Ryder - Medina, OH

Pete RyderWe've implemented, or started to implement, several things already - there's a group meeting in our church now that was started because of a (i21) project - it's still going strong. It came directly from some things we did with i21.

Keith Hostetler - Parkersburg, WV

"I need to work some more on the whole idea of setting goals and accomplishing tasks ... (the) whole idea of balance has helped me look at some needed areas of my life and has helped me a lot ... God is doing some amazing things within i21. I know He is teaching me ... At 55, it is great to know you can still teach an old dog new tricks."

John Stallings - Massillon, OH

This (i21) is so good.  It is not at all what I expected, but exactly what I needed.
