Who is Coincidence Maybe?

Coincidence Maybe

Members include (L-R): Denver Shindle and Travis Becknell

Coincidence MaybeCoincidence Maybe is made up of founding member Travis Becknell and Denver Shindle. Many other talented members and hired musicians have shaped the sound of the band, but the cornerstone of the group for the last few years has been the interplay between Denver and Travis, both live and in the studio. Travis is the songwriter, singer, and guitar player and Denver holds multiple roles as drummer, percussionist, background singer, concert visual designer, and booking agent. MVNU is proud to claim Travis and Denver as alumni!

What Can Coincidence Maybe Provide?

Coincidence Maybe has performed over 300 concerts throughout the U.S. and are currently traveling in support of their latest offering, "The Essence Project." Their new tour, aptly named "The Essence Initiative" was designed to provide a high quality, professional-level experience to churches and ministries who may be experiencing budget challenges.

By paring down the 6-man group to just 2 members, they are able to play in a variety of churches and venues regardless of the size. Their hope is that this arrangement of music and performance can help show that the very essence of our lives is the essential relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

With a variety of options ranging from worship services to full production concerts, Coincidence Maybe can appeal to the hearts of everyone ages 8-80!

"I have yet to hear any two-piece live band sound as full and rich as Coincidence Maybe. I appreciated their ability to speak to both young and old in two completely different style worship services." -- Josh Allen, Youth/Worship Minister, Grace Community Church

"I have known Travis and Denver personally for years. The only thing better than their musical ability in composition and performance, is their authenticity as sojourners. These guys follow Christ. A cool thing happens when you combine their spiritual veracity with their musical creativity. I love these guys." -- Tim Miller, Senior Pastor, South Dayton Free Methodist Church

"These guys are concerned with musical excellence and Biblical authenticity as they worship the King of Kings. The music is on the cutting edge and the lyrics are thought provoking and challenging. The love that they have for God and His people can be seen as they take time to meet and talk with people before, during, and after the concerts. Coincidence Maybe is a ministry that I can easily recommend without reservation!" -- Mark Ledford, Senior Pastor, Westerville Church of the Nazarene

"We had Coincidence Maybe visit our church as a part of our worship service and everyone agrees it was a wonderful experience. People are still talking about how much they enjoyed the music and energy that they provided that morning. The morning was rich with worship and the sweet sounds of beautiful music that are a blessing to God and to our congregation. We're looking forward to having Coincidence Maybe back again soon." -- Joe Watkins, Youth Minister, New Life Christian Fellowship

Coincidence Maybe is inspirational and truly great! Wonderful musicians and family. We enjoyed meeting you all!" -- Diane Schmidt, Kidd Coffee
