GPS Vision

Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) is committed to providing an opportunity for adults to obtain a quality education in a learning environment that emphasizes Christian values and ethical standards. Within this context, GPS serves as a resource for adults striving to enhance their personal and professional lives in a constantly changing world.

Locations

The main campus is located at 800 Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio. GPS programs are offered at multiple convenient locations, including Polaris, Gahanna, Mansfield, and Newark. Our facilities offer classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, quiet study space, and comfortable learning environments. Some courses and programs are available online.

Curriculum

GPS programs provide a quality education designed specifically for adult learners with curriculum developed by experts. Many programs offer a cohort learning model, encouraging academic support, personal friendships, and networking relationships that last beyond graduation.

History

In 1993, the University responded to the needs of adult, non-traditional learners by creating EXCELL, which is now GPS. Since then, GPS has increased its academic programs from its original Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree-completion program to include a BBA with multiple concentration options; an AAS in Business; an undergraduate degree in social work; graduate degrees in business, education, and ministry; general studies courses; and certificate programs in education and ministry.

Note: General Studies courses are designed for adult students who want to complete their college degree but do not have the necessary credits to enroll in an undergraduate degree completion program or enough total credits to graduate. General Studies courses are offered online and in the classroom.
