NUR4034 Mental Health Nursing [4].

A study of key concepts of promoting and restoring psychological health. Application of evidence-based nursing principles and therapeutic communication to clients with alterations in mental health functioning is emphasized. The unique needs of the elderly client with alterations in mental functioning are explored.

Prerequisites: PSY3063, a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher and a grade of C or better in all of the following: NUR3074, NUR3053 and NUR3033.
