NUR2053 Transition: from Practical to Professional Nursing .
The course is designed to prepare licensed practical nurses for professional nursing. The focus is on clinical decision making from a Christian worldview. Competency in selected nursing therapeutics skills will be assessed
Prerequisites: nursing major, licensed in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Practical Nurse, cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher, a grade of C or better in all required science courses ([BIO1054G or BIO1014G], [CHE1014G or CHE1033/1031], and [CHE1024G or CHE1043/1041]) and complete the standardized entrance examination. (BIO1054G, CHE1014G and CHE1024G are the preferred prerequisites.)
