MLS4023 Clinical Immunology .
This course is a study of the most current theory, practice, and clinical applications in the fields of immunology and serology. It forms the foundation for practicing medical laboratory scientists. Topics include the clinical features of selected infectious diseases and their serological presentations along with protein analysis, autoimmune disorders, cellular immunity, concepts of transplantation and tumor immunology.
Prerequisites: Entry into the MLS Program and a C or better in BIO3004.
