The Couchenour Guest House is now open and taking reservations! Cost is just $35/night for alumni and pastors, and $45/night for other friends of MVNU.

The former president's home, located on Glen Road, was remodeled to accommodate office space in 2004. It was rightfully named the Couchenour House to honor the dedicated service of Dr. James Couchenour from Columbiana, Ohio, MVNU trustee from 1971-2003.

In addition to serving as a guest house, the facility also houses Alumni Relations and Church Relations personnel. We look forward to hosting alumni, pastors, parents and friends in this beautiful, updated space.

• Four guest rooms
• One common/lounge area with small refrigerator, microwave, and TV
• One large conference room with TV (standard Cable) and white board
• Free wireless Internet throughout
• Comfortable sitting area with overstuffed couches in large conference room
• Free pass to the MVNU cafeteria for breakfast during the school year. Lunch and dinner may be purchased during the school year and during some campus events.

1. Priority use:
   1. Alumni and pastors
   2. Other college guests (non-alumni) for departments
      1. These requests should come from the department
      2. The department pays for the guests
   3. Others – on a space available basis, reservations may be made a week prior to the date desired.
2. Room reservations:
   1. If children are present, those under the age of 13 must stay in a room accompanied by a parent.
   2. An alumnus may reserve a room for himself/herself and an additional room(s) for a guest(s) at the time the reservation is made. The reservation must be for the same date.
   3. An alumnus may not reserve a room for someone else using the alumnus' name. To do this would circumvent the priority policy.
   4. An alumnus may not reserve a room for someone else using their name.
   5. An alumnus bride/groom using The Grove for a wedding or reception may reserve rooms for wedding guests.
3. CHECK OUT TIME IS 11 a.m. ON DAY OF DEPARTURE.
4. The rate is:
   1. $35 for the first night for Alumni and Pastors
   2. $45 for the first night for Friends of the University
   3. *Each additional night is only $25.
