NEW! Starting in fall 2007, MVNU will offer a social work degree completion program designed for working adults with previous college experience. Social work classes will be offered in the evenings to accommodate the busy schedules of working adults. MVNU’s program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
The Demand
According to the U. S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, social work is one of the fastest growing careers in the United States. Data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration also indicates that professional social workers are the nation’s largest group of mental health services providers.
