All MVNU Teacher Education programs lead to licensure in the state of Ohio . A B.A. in Early Childhood Education leads to a teaching license for Pre-school – grade 3. This course of study includes 12 hours of instruction in teaching reading.
Upon completion of an Early Childhood major, teacher candidates apply for a two-year entry level license (Provisional). A Professional Teaching License is granted by the state of Ohio following successful completion of the Praxis III performance exam during the first or second year of teaching.
