Adolescent/Young Adult

All MVNU Teacher Education programs lead to licensure in the state of Ohio . There are five Adolescent/Young Adult majors from which to choose: B.A. in Integrated Language Arts, B.A. in Integrated Mathematics, B.A. in Integrated Social Studies, B.S. in Life Science, and a B.S. in Physical Science. Each of these majors leads to a teaching license for grades 7-12.

Upon completion of one of these Adolescent/Young Adult majors, candidates apply for a two-year entry level license (Provisional). A Professional Teaching License is granted by the state of Ohio following successful completion of the Praxis III performance exam during the first or second year of teaching.
