Picture yourself in a leadership position in a community, church, or business. Imagine hearing yourself broadcasting the news on a radio station. Envision yourself performing a leading role in a theatrical production. If you can see yourself in situations like these, a communication major may be the ticket you need to help you enter a marketplace where the ability to form and articulate ideas is a must. The Communication Department at Mount Vernon Nazarene University wants to help you fulfill your vision of putting your talents to work to serve Christ and others.
The MVNU communication faculty is committed to teaching communication concepts infused with the Christian values of truth, righteousness and goodness, to enable you to enhance personal relationships, contribute to human society, and advance God’s kingdom. We want to help you use your communication skills as an instrument of God to transform a fallen world by preparing you to be a Christlike leader for lifelong service.
